A Montessori Diploma Course that Transforms the Way Children Learn.

My Montessori journey began with my son. Each time I visited his school, I wondered what they were teaching with all those “colourful things” around. I joined the Montessori training program offered by The Freethinking Team, and it opened my eyes to a new way of looking at education. It was so different from the traditional method I knew, where learning was mostly through books. As the course went on, even the simplest tasks started to feel exciting. I still remember my first practical lesson unrolling and rolling a mat. At first, it seemed too simple, but then I realized how much it mattered. A mat was not just about tidiness; it was about order, respect, and preparation. This course showed me how everyday tasks can become lessons that help children grow into responsible adults. The theory classes gave us the base, but it was in the practical sessions that these ideas truly made sense. Working with the materials showed me clearly how children use their senses to learn. For me, material making was the best part of the course. Knowing that the things we made would actually be used in the classroom gave me a special joy and made the work feel meaningful. Overall, the Montessori course was a real eye-opener. Coming from traditional school, I now realize how much we missed as children. Through this course I feel like I have discovered myself all over again.
