Refund and Cancellation Policy

Freethinking Teacher Training Academy (FTTA)

Last Updated: 2 October 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all applications, registrations, enrolments and payments made to Freethinking Teacher Training Academy (“FTTA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) for our courses, programmes, workshops, training sessions and related services.

1. No Refund Policy

All payments made to FTTA towards an application, registration, admission, enrolment, course fee, programme fee, booking fee or seat confirmation are non-refundable.

Once an applicant submits an application and makes a payment towards an FTTA programme, the payment will not be refunded if the applicant later decides not to join, attend, continue or complete the programme.

Applicants are therefore requested to carefully review the programme details, eligibility requirements, course structure, schedule, fees and other relevant information before making any payment.

2. Application and Registration Fees

Any application fee, registration fee, admission fee or booking amount paid to FTTA is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Payment of an application or registration fee does not guarantee admission unless FTTA has separately confirmed the applicant’s admission.

3. Course and Programme Fees

Once a student has enrolled in a programme, all course fees and other amounts paid are non-refundable.

No refund will be provided for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Change of mind after applying or enrolling.

  • Inability to attend classes, practical sessions, observations or internships.

  • Personal, professional, family or travel-related circumstances.

  • Change in work schedules or relocation.

  • Failure to complete the programme.

  • Withdrawal from the programme after admission.

  • Absence from classes or training sessions.

  • Failure to submit assignments, complete assessments or meet programme requirements.

  • Dissatisfaction arising from expectations that were not part of the programme information provided by FTTA.

4. Instalment Payments

Where FTTA permits payment of programme fees in instalments, the instalment arrangement does not change this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Any instalment already paid is non-refundable.

Students remain responsible for complying with the payment schedule and terms agreed upon at the time of enrolment.

5. Programme Withdrawal

Students may choose to discontinue or withdraw from a programme at any time. However, withdrawal does not create an entitlement to a refund of any amount already paid.

Students should notify FTTA in writing if they wish to discontinue their programme.

6. Non-Attendance

Failure to attend a course, class, practical session, workshop, observation, internship or other scheduled activity will not qualify the student for a refund.

Non-attendance will not automatically cancel an enrolment or remove any outstanding payment obligations.

7. Transfer of Admission

Programme registrations, admissions and payments are generally issued to the individual applicant and cannot be transferred to another person.

Any exception will be entirely at the discretion of FTTA and must be approved by FTTA in writing.

8. Programme Rescheduling

FTTA may occasionally need to modify or reschedule class dates, practical sessions, trainers, locations, programme components or other operational arrangements.

Such reasonable changes do not automatically entitle a student to a refund.

Where appropriate, FTTA may provide an alternative date, session or arrangement.

9. Programme Cancellation by FTTA

If FTTA cancels an entire programme and is unable to provide a reasonable alternative, affected students will be informed of the options available to them.

Any refund or credit provided in such circumstances will be determined by FTTA based on the circumstances and applicable law.

10. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a payment has been charged more than once because of a technical or payment-processing error, the applicant should contact FTTA with proof of the duplicate transaction.

Once verified, an eligible duplicate or incorrect payment may be refunded to the original payment method.

This does not apply to valid application, registration, admission or programme payments.

11. Payment Gateway and Bank Charges

Where a refund is required because of a verified duplicate transaction or where FTTA is otherwise required to issue a refund, payment gateway charges, bank charges or other transaction charges may be deducted where permitted.

Processing times may depend on the relevant bank, payment gateway or financial institution.

12. Acceptance of This Policy

By submitting an application, registering for a programme, making a payment or confirming enrolment with FTTA, the applicant acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Applicants are responsible for reviewing this policy before making payment.

13. Applicable Law

This policy is governed by the applicable laws of India.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
